The rooms are beautiful and everyone is so warm and welcoming. I hope it stays that way. I am from Jamaica so therefore, this entire experience is all new to me but Dwight Loft was the right decision fo a newbie like me. As it says on the sticker at the door, home away from home for sure!.

The diversity, I really missed all the different kinds of people since I moved from Texas to Colorado. So far they haven't moved in yet, but I have a suitemate who is from Jamaica, and I am excited to meet and learn about all of them.

What I love most about this community is its convenient location and the welcoming atmosphere. Being close to Columbia College Chicago makes it very easy to get to classes, campus facilities, and everything I need in downtown Chicago. I also appreciate having other students around, which makes it easier to meet new people and feel connected to the school community. Overall, living here has made my transition back to college much easier and more comfortable.

Extremely easy application and leasing process. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Honestly, the whole ease of procedure was what sold me on a lease here.

The whole process was so easy, took a day. I just love that it wasn't a hassle like other places that rent. I will be here for the future because my school depaul is right down the road and so is the red line that goes to the lincoln park location.

Tyler was so good at giving me the tour. I felt right at home and never been better. When I first decided to move out, I was scared, but now I know that doing things in the face of fear, even if it’s rather spontaneous, can breed exciting, fulfilling opportunities! :) Thank you, Dwight Lofts!

I love our apartment in Paddy Pads the view is absolutely amazing. The kitchen and bathrooms are also class, I would not change it for any other accomodation.

Having recently moved to Chicago, one of the things I’ve loved most has been becoming part of a building filled with fellow Irish people. Moving to a new city can feel overwhelming at first, but having a community that shares a common background has made the transition incredibly welcoming and enjoyable. What stands out most is the sense of connection and friendliness. There’s an instant understanding and familiarity that comes from shared experiences, traditions, and humour. Whether it’s a quick chat in the hallway, recommendations for places to visit in the city, or getting together for social events, there’s always a feeling that people are looking out for one another. I’ve also enjoyed how the community balances celebrating Irish culture while embracing life in Chicago. It’s been a great way to feel connected to home while building a new life abroad. The friendships and support network that naturally develop in this environment make a huge difference

I am staying at Dwight Lofts in Chicago during my J1 summer, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, convenient, and social accommodation. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and settled in quickly thanks to the friendly atmosphere and well-maintained facilities. One of the best things about Dwight Lofts is its excellent location in the heart of Chicago. It is within walking distance of many popular attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transport links, making it easy to explore the city and commute to work. The central location allowed me to make the most of my time in Chicago and experience everything the city has to offer. The accommodation itself is modern, clean, and fully furnished. Having access to a full kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and comfortable living spaces made day-to-day life very easy and enjoyable.

I love how everyone is so kind in the elevator and everyone looks out for each other. Having the sky lounge allows us to meet people and become friends easily which is really nice and builds community.

I love this community the building is very nice and all the people here are lovely the amenities are incredible only downside is paying for laundry but it could be worse and the sky lounge makes it so worth it and I love the practice rooms

i love the proximity to all my friends. any time i need items i don’t have in my dorm or advice or company i can easily hit up one of my friends and they come. I also love the gym and coffee machine.

Dwight is pretty good so far I don’t have any complaints about the building, my only this is the people that live in it. At night time their so loud, that’s really my only complaint.

Very good housing; good amenities, amazing water pressure, and a fun environment. The deck allows for a good place for people to meet up, bond, and relax. I also greatly enjoy the gym on the first floor

I love how there are a lot of activities that you can do, and you can have a lot of fun. I really do love my community. I love to go a lot of places, like I love to go to the library and read books. I also love to walk around downtown sightseeing.

I really like living here at the dwight. Compared to other student housing I was considering this is by far the best. My favorite part is the full kitchen because it saves me a lot of money on eating out or a dining plan.

I love how chill everyone is and open to creating a community in the dorms. I think having access to the sky lounge and graffiti room especially makes it fun and easy to get out of your room and talk to others.

All of my suite-mates are wonderful people. We love to watch shows together and sit in the living room to talk. We communicate very well and support each other. We also make each other laugh and it helps to have amazing people in my life to support me while we all go through this new big change of college.

It’s wonderful! The energy here is so good. Everyone was honestly nice and patient during move in day. We did have a lil trouble with the fire alarm but everyone was nature not one person was hurt during us moving around so that’s really great.

Everyone I’ve meet so far is welcoming and friendly. The room also had minimum issues.The halls are a decent temperature so it’s never too hot or cold. Dim lighting which is a nice break from the sunny city or bright classroom lights.

Roommates seem nice, I’m a solo traveller and have only actually met one so far but he seems lovely and the staff are really helpful and gave us a great pizza recommendation which is only 10 steps out the front door :)

It was great when I lived there, looking forward to dorming again during my next fall there. My roommates were chill, no one was bothered by me, overall better and cheaper than buying an apartment if you don’t have people to share an apartment with or lack a stable job.
