I've loved my community at the Dwight. I made some great friends and frequently hang out with my neighbors now. Everyone here is so friendly and waves/smiles at one another!

I love how everyone is so kind in the elevator and everyone looks out for each other. Having the sky lounge allows us to meet people and become friends easily which is really nice and builds community.

I love this community the building is very nice and all the people here are lovely the amenities are incredible only downside is paying for laundry but it could be worse and the sky lounge makes it so worth it and I love the practice rooms

i love the proximity to all my friends. any time i need items i don’t have in my dorm or advice or company i can easily hit up one of my friends and they come. I also love the gym and coffee machine.

The community and the experience! Everyone is awesome, and the apartments are great and comfortable to live in. Great access to the outside and downtown Chicago.

Dwight is pretty good so far I don’t have any complaints about the building, my only this is the people that live in it. At night time their so loud, that’s really my only complaint.

Very good housing; good amenities, amazing water pressure, and a fun environment. The deck allows for a good place for people to meet up, bond, and relax. I also greatly enjoy the gym on the first floor

I love how there are a lot of activities that you can do, and you can have a lot of fun. I really do love my community. I love to go a lot of places, like I love to go to the library and read books. I also love to walk around downtown sightseeing.

I love the diversity and the ability to speak to other creatives like myself! I love being able to have the opportunities at Columbia I wouldn’t be able to have at another school.

I really like living here at the dwight. Compared to other student housing I was considering this is by far the best. My favorite part is the full kitchen because it saves me a lot of money on eating out or a dining plan.

I love how chill everyone is and open to creating a community in the dorms. I think having access to the sky lounge and graffiti room especially makes it fun and easy to get out of your room and talk to others.

All of my suite-mates are wonderful people. We love to watch shows together and sit in the living room to talk. We communicate very well and support each other. We also make each other laugh and it helps to have amazing people in my life to support me while we all go through this new big change of college.

Its an apartment so there is nothing to dislike. I love the view I get from the city and especially when the night rolls around. I love the kitchen layout aswell.

I love the kindness, friendliness and support from not only my staff, but my suite mates and neighbors. This truly feels like a community ! I have only been here a week , yet I have made so many different friendships and connections that I see lasting a longtime.

I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH. You guys are VERY helpful and VERY sweet. You guys make me feel so comfortable here and i am glad i chose this school. I’m also excited to spend the next 4 years with amazing people.

It’s wonderful! The energy here is so good. Everyone was honestly nice and patient during move in day. We did have a lil trouble with the fire alarm but everyone was nature not one person was hurt during us moving around so that’s really great.

The dwight is the best dorms a freshman in college could ever have!! You can live so comfortably here making the feeling of home seem not as far!

Everyone I’ve meet so far is welcoming and friendly. The room also had minimum issues.The halls are a decent temperature so it’s never too hot or cold. Dim lighting which is a nice break from the sunny city or bright classroom lights.

I love Chicago and the Dwight has made my experience the best! It was super enjoyable and such a good stay!! The apartment community was super nice and welcoming and all of Dwight Lofts was really great.

We are lucky with great friendly housemates , and we love the common areas. Everywhere is clean and welcoming ! The air conditioning is always so refreshing coming back home to, and the water filter is a great touch!

Roommates seem nice, I’m a solo traveller and have only actually met one so far but he seems lovely and the staff are really helpful and gave us a great pizza recommendation which is only 10 steps out the front door :)

very nice neighbourhood, great public transport connect. Spacious rooms. Good staff, very friendly. Amenities could be better like the lift. But in general, a very great and safe community.

It was great when I lived there, looking forward to dorming again during my next fall there. My roommates were chill, no one was bothered by me, overall better and cheaper than buying an apartment if you don’t have people to share an apartment with or lack a stable job.

People here are fun and open. Nice variety of events take place here each week. Basically everyone here is down for socializing and the apartment hangouts are nice and chill.
